KORN – GOT THE LIFE (BASS COVER)

Korn is American heavy metal band formed in Bakersfield, California, United States. in 1993. Formation of the band currently includes four members: Jonathan Davis, James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and Ray Luzier. The band was formed after L.A.P.D. disbanded (3 band Korn member before).

Korn formed in 1993, the same year released their first demo album, Neidermeyer’s Mind. [1] The album featured two former members of Korn, Brian “Head” Welch and David Silveria. Their debut album, Korn, released in 1994, where they featured the same musicians in the album Neidermeyer’s Mind. Korn began recording Life Is Peachy in April 1996, and was released on October 15, 1996. The album became a breakthrough Follow The Leader Korn main musical style, topped the Billboard 200 in 1998, then released their next album, Issues in 1999. Later released Untouchable on June 11, 2002, and later released Take a Look in The Mirror 21 November, 2003, two of the top 10 of the album topped the Billboard 200. their first compilation album, is located at # 4 Billboard 200. See You in The Other Side was released on dated December 6, 2005, and Untitled album was released almost two years later on July 31, 2007, Korn III: Remember Who You Are, may be released in the summer of 2010. [2] Korn currently has 33 singles and 17 songs in the Billboard list [ 3] [4] 6 video albums and 32 music videos. Currently, Korn has sold 16.5 million albums in the United States six times to Grammy nominations-two of which won (for “Freak on a Leash” and “Here To Stay”

“Got the Life” is a song written and recorded by American band Korn for their third studio album, Follow the Leader which was released as the album’s second single on November 23, 1998. It was recorded in April 1998 at NRG Recording Studios. The band decided they would release the song as a promotional single after each member found that there was something “special” about the song. The single had “phenomenal success”, and its music video was requested more than any other video on MTV‘s TRL, making it the first officially “retired” music video.

“Got the Life” did not receive much attention in the music press; however, the song was rewarded a gold certification in Australia by the Australian Recording Industry Association. It peaked at number one on the Canadian RPM Rock/Alternative Chart chart, as well as number fifteen on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and number seventeen on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
